Labor's tax cuts to provide cost of living relief to Australian women

The Albanese Labor Government is delivering a tax cut for every Australian woman taxpayer commencing on July 1.

Labor’s tax cuts will put more money back in the pockets of Australian women to provide cost of living relief and will mean if women want to pick up an extra shift or an extra day of work, they keep a larger proportion of what they earn.

Labor’s tax plan will see Australian women taxpayers, on average, receive a tax cut of $1,649 from 1 July.

Continuing to work for WA in 2024

Travelling at 143km/h, GM1 was the first interstate diesel locomotive in Australia. It connected Perth to Sydney and now sits proudly in the Railway Museum in Bassendean.

It was hard to describe to the kids during our summer visit just how big an impact this “Federation train” had on the economy of Western Australia.

In decades past these trains took parliamentarians to Canberra, taking the voice of the west to the east coast-based halls of power.

Today, my job is to take WA's values and turn them into national results.
