About the Minister
Ben Morton was elected as the Federal Liberal Member for Tangney in 2016. In May 2019 he was appointed Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
In the Parliament Ben Morton has undertaken significant committee work, including Chairing the Joint Standing Committee on the National Capital and External Territories.
Prior to entering Parliament Ben Morton worked as a bus driver, an adviser to the Howard Government, and for one of Australia's largest home builders, BGC.
Ben Morton is in Parliament for hardworking Australians and families who want to apply their effort and succeed. He is committed to helping build an Australia that empowers people, that rewards individual and community effort and where everyone can reach their full potential.
Ben lives in Tangney with his wife and two young children.
